In the “Back When Times” I was the screenwriter and co-creator of the animated webseries The Storyteller: Fallout at Shoddycast. It ran for four seasons and has over a million subscribers. I co-created the characters of Storyteller and his robot pal, ED-Na. I also created Ranger Helen Tanner, and “Junior” for the third season of the show. I created the Fallout villains “The Luddites” and King Ludd too.
I wrote over 60 episodes of the series, but here’s the final story arc that I did.
I was also a narrative designer and quest designer for Shoddycast mods including Fallout: Brotherhood (ft. Mark Meer) and The Wasteland Codex Mod for Fallout 4, and the Storyteller Companion Mod for Fallout: New Vegas.
Fallout: Brotherhood (For Fallout 4) is an interactive lore mod starring Meer as Roger Maxson, the founder of the Brotherhood of Steel. Players can return to the Memory Den as the Sole Survivor and help the Storyteller uncover what happened at the Mariposa Military Base in the days leading up to the Great War on October 23rd, 2077.
I wrote much of the dialog and Narrative Design for this mod. Download it HERE.
And here’s the trailer (Yes, that’s my voice as the Brotherhood Commander).
My original characters were used to create the Fallout: New Vegas Storyteller Companion Mod. The mod has hours of narrative written by me, including some original dialog voiced by the cast of Fallout 3. Download it here.
I also wrote an un-produced screenplay for a feature-length Fallout movie that was in the early stages of development at Shoddycast. Although the movie was canceled, some elements of the story will be used for an upcoming game set in an original non-Fallout setting. Keep an eye on my social media in 2027 for news.
